Our Mission

In 2012, I was given the opportunity to travel to Haiti as a nursing student and serve on a medical mission trip at Northwest Haiti Christian Mission. That trip changed me in ways I still carry today. I came home different—with a new perspective, a deeper sense of purpose, and a piece of my heart left in Haiti.

Since that first visit, this mission has stayed close to me.

Northwest Haiti Christian Mission is doing incredible, life-changing work—serving communities through education, medical care, nutrition programs, orphan care, and church support. They are one of the largest ministries and employers in the northwest region of Haiti, impacting thousands of lives every single day.

Their mission is simple and powerful: to pursue Christ wholeheartedly while helping others do the same.

Through their programs, they are feeding not just bodies, but minds and souls—providing education and daily meals to children who might otherwise go without. In a country where nearly 1 in 5 children face starvation or malnutrition, that work matters deeply.

They also care for some of the most vulnerable—children with special needs who are often overlooked or abandoned. At the Meriam Center, these children are given not only care, but dignity, love, and a chance at life.

The mission extends even further, supporting elderly individuals through the Gran Moun program—offering care, respect, and community to those who are often forgotten.

And at the heart of it all is medical care—clinics, surgical services, eye care, and a birthing center that brings new life into the world every year. It’s a reflection of Christ’s compassion in action.

Because this mission has meant so much to me, I’m committed to giving back.

In 2026, 1% of all GritNGraceGirlCo sales will be donated directly to Northwest Haiti Christian Mission.
